Every engineering student will need to use a design program at least once in their life, whether for a project they are involved in or an assignment given at school. However, if you aim to be a good engineer, mastering at least one design program will take you to much higher levels.

AutoCAD stands for "Auto Computer-Aided Design," a software primarily used for project-based work and widely used in preparing construction projects. Thanks to the commands available within AutoCAD, any project can be easily drawn. This program offers both 2D and 3D drawing options, though 2D is generally preferred. For 3D drawings, more comprehensive programs are typically used.
